This is Emeka. My husband had him before we were married and I have grown attached. Today Emeka passed away. He had an abscess and it was so severe the vet said even if he fixed it Emeka would still die. Well we could tell how much pain Emeka was in so now at least he won’t be in pain. RIP Emeka.
Well, being out of work and school almost a year really makes you long for it again. I start work again today and I am so happy to be making my own money again! :D
I work at Food Lion. I worked there in North Carolina and then I got married and we moved to Tennessee and now I am finally starting work there again. It is nice because I still remember most things even though I will be getting trained it will be like a refresher course. I am soooo excited! Although this is an older store and I used to work in a newer store so some things will be different. I still have my uniform which is really nice and they are starting me out at 7.50 because I have experience. That is 25 cents more than I was making. OH YEAH! Also she may be making me an office person which is like one step higher than a cashier but that will come in some time. I hope that maybe when I go to college I can work my way up and maybe end up in like Human Resources or something for Food Lion. Anyways I am just thankful for this answered prayer and for my former boss contacting them also. Such a blessing.
